Made in Green by Oeko-Tex

Cf. Oeko-Tex standard
ETERNA products carry the 'Made in Green by Oeko-Tex' label. Since 2015, this label has replaced Oeko-Tex standard 100. The Oeko-Tex standard is an independent testing and certification system for textile products. In 2000, ETERNA became the first clothing company worldwide to be certified with the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 plus label, signalling that the products are tested against pollutants and manufactured in an environmentally-friendly manner complying with strict social standards. The label marks products at all stages of the textile chain that were produced from pollutant-tested materials by means of environmentally-friendly processes under secure and socially responsible conditions of work. In addition, any consumer can transparently trace an item marked certified with the 'Made in Green' label at any time by means of a unique product or a QR code.

Marcella

This type of fabric goes back to the early men's shirts in England around 1910. ETERNA has revived this classic style of dress shirt with its textured surface and visible dimples. The fabric has a rich, grainy feel.

Melange

The word melange comes from French and means mixture. Here, light, dark or differently coloured fibres are blended during the spinning process to produce a multicoloured yarn. The best known is the elegant blend of grey and white.

Men's and boy's wear

Mille-rayé

The name mille-rayé comes from French and means "a thousand stripes". The fabric has fine, tightly woven stripes running longitudinally.

Millefleurs

The French term 'millefleurs' means 'thousand flours'. It is an all-over pattern with densely scattered flowers, also known as a folkdance pattern. This type of pattern looks especially good on blouses and dresses.

Millerayé

This fabric is produced in twill weave. The term 'millerayé' is derived from French, meaning 'thousand stripes'. The fabric features distinct, very fine and tightly woven stripes arranged longitudinally.

Mock leno

Mock leno fabrics have an airy, lattice-like structure. The term originates from imitations of high-quality leno fabrics, which are produced on special machines and are mainly used for home textiles. The fabric is air-permeable and has a cooling effect.
